- Merits Health Warranty Information
The Junior Compact Power Chair is a great twist on the classic power wheelchair. This chair is scaled-down in size but still features all of the standard functions you would expect to find in a full-size power wheelchair. The Junior has a max speed of 4.5 mph and a drive range of up to 12.5 miles when fully charged, so it's a fantastic option if you want something to buzz around town in.
What Makes This Different
The Junior Compact Power Chair is ideal for a supplementary chair for when you are on-the-go. Its smaller scale and ability to be disassembled for portability make it perfect for hauling around town. Not only is this chair smaller in stature, it also has excellent maneuverability, with a turning radius of just 23". Whether you're squeezing between aisles or motoring around hallways, the compact Junior is up to the challenge.
Why We Like It
This chair fits the bill if you are looking for something convenient. From the easily accessible charging location just below the controller to its worry-free foam-filled tires, this chair is ready to perform. The Junior is also customizable to fit your specific needs. Medicare and other insurance companies make it difficult for you to obtain a mobility scooter or power wheelchair. The process can take up to six months before approval.
To obtain a power wheelchair or mobility scooter through Medicare, you must prove to a doctor that you are not able to ambulate (walk or move around), even with assistance devices such as a walker, rollator, cane, etc.
This process can keep you from being able to travel, or move around freely for months; therefore, it's best to pay for the product via a payment option if you do not have the ability to pay it all at once.
